Heather, thanks for the encouraging words! I never think of myself as a “writer” per se, but I’m consistently told that I seem to care about what I write, so there must be some truth to that, even if I don’t realize what I’m actually doing when I write is caring for my words. I just want them to be understandable, truthful and carry some deeper meaning.

I guess that is true for most people.
