The Entrecard 10,000 EC Credit Giveaway Contest

10000 ec credit contest The contest is now closed. Thank you to everyone that participated!
That's right! I'm giving away 10,000 Entrecard credits to one lucky person.

Imagine what you could do with 10,000 Entrecard credits! You could buy advertising on that expensive blog you've been saving for or you could hold 10 1,000 Entrecard credit contests of your own. It's up to you.

10,000 Entrecard credits is quite a bit of credits to just give away. And as you might be aware, contests usually benefit the person holding them. This is no exception, except that when you help me, you are also going to be helping yourself. I think you'll agree that it's a win-win for both of us. Are you going to be the lucky winner of 10,000 brand spanking new Entrecard credits? Good luck!

How to enter

I'm keeping this contest simple and it will take only a few minutes of your time to enter. Here's what you'll need to do to gain an entry to the contest. The more you do, the more entries you’ll have in the contest.

  1. Earn Two(2) Entries: Add your link into Link Listings. Simply navigate to a category that defines your blog, and then click the 'Add Site' link that will appear in the navigation bar.

Enter your site information, and forget about the reciprocal link on the Add Link form, it's not required, but it sure is appreciated if you want to reciprocate with a link on your site.

You can find out more about LinkListings.net here. AND DON’T FORGET TO COMMENT HERE TO COMPLETE YOUR ENTRY!!!

  2. Earn One(1) additional Entry: Write a Post. Write a post telling your readers about the contest. The two things you need to include in the post are a link to this post here, and a link to LinkListings.net. All links should be 'nofollow' free, and feel free to use the 125 image above.

I recommend you also provide a link to the category on LinkListings.net (maybe as an example to your Entrecard readers) where your listing will be displayed when it is approved. It will give your listing there a little more 'oomph' to help drive more traffic to your own site later on. You don’t need to, it would simply help things if you did.

Feel free to use this graphic if you want (source code is on the Add Link screen on LinkListings.net): linklistings

  3. Comment here. You'll need to let me know that you have completed one or more of the above steps. Simply leave me a comment with the link to the post you wrote on your blog. The link to the post should be left in the comment area and not the URL field. (The URL field gets truncated beyond the root domain, so leave your full link in the comment area)
  4. Get Verified. Once you complete the above, I'll see your comment here and I'll then verify the above steps have been completed. Once I verify the above steps were completed properly, I will email you to confirm your entry and leave a comment here in response. Please allow me 24 to 48 hours, perhaps longer if things go crazy. Either way, you can check back here to ensure you are entered.

That's all there is to it! Good luck to you!

Rules, Regulations, Things that go ‘huh’

Of course, things need to be fair and balanced, so there are a few rules. Common sense will reign.

  1. You must complete all the above steps, and they must be verified by me. If there are any problems with your entry, I'll inform you via email, so leave a valid email address.
  2. The final winner will be rechecked prior to prize distribution. That means, your post needs to still be available after the contest has closed.
  3. The contest will start on from Monday. February 16, 2009 at 12:00 AM and will end one month from that day on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 12:00 AM or after 7 consecutive days pass without a new entry.
  4. Any and all disputes will be addressed by myself and I am the final word. Makes sense since I started this contest. You are free to voice any concerns here, I never delete a non-spam comment, and public opinion can also weigh in, but again, I'm the final word.
  5. Links in your post are required to be nofollow free, as all my links are here.
  6. Entries with invalid emails will be discarded. Make sure you give me some way to contact you if you're the winner!
  7. Comments on this post will be closed when the contest ends. I’ll update this post to supply a link to the winner announcement post.
  8. Each contestant will get a chance at three entries into the pool of entries. The winner will be picked by a random number generator on the web at a third party website. Each entry will be numbered sequentially in the order that they are input into the pool. A random number between 1 and the max number of entries will be selected by the website, thusly selecting the winner.
  9. In the end, common sense will apply and anything I might have missed will be supplied upon request.

Updates to post:
