Some of my favorite TV shows

Looking back at my post where I asked you all to ask me anything, I realize I have a number of favorites that I have yet to share with everyone.

Now don’t think I’m being a bit presumptuous here, there are a couple of you that might be interested in knowing what my favorite TV shows are, or anything else for that matter.  I normally try to avoid sharing too much about myself in particular, I like my privacy, and letting too much about myself go out there kinda scares me a bit.

Who am I fooling?  I blog, I must want the attention right?  Perhaps, but it doesn’t feel that way…it just happens as a normal part of connecting with readers.  So I’ll get on with it already and quit whining.

My favorite TV shows

In case you’re wondering, and you probably aren’t, but in case you are, Lost is my all time favorite made for television show.  Hands down, my favorite.  I can’t wait for the return next February so I can put my obsession to rest.

Here are, in no particular order mind you, a collection of my favorite TV shows.  Not every one will be represented.  Have you ever tried to list ALL of your favorite TV shows?  It isn’t easy, and you’ll find yourself searching for more and more, in this unending quest to add more and more, because you know, in the back of your mind, you’re forgetting one.

If I can think of another, I’ll edit and add it later.  For now, this is probably enough to make any psychologist drool.

How do we compare?  See some you forget about?  Some you disagree with?

By the way, due to FTC rules and regulations, I have suppose I need to tell you that if you click an image and buy something, I’ll be paid some pittance from Amazon.  I think it’s pathetic that I would have to tell you this, and I guess it really is a tell about the mentality of people out there.  After all, the reason we need to state the obvious is due to a handful of people creating sites with lies and deception as their main marketing points.

I have no clue if I need to, or should even bother listening to the FTC’s rules.  After all, I’m just a guy having fun writing and sharing stuff about myself.

The FTC can kiss my ass as far as I’m concerned. I’d rather see them educating the masses than trying to control the masses.  Seems the better road to travel.

I see you have American Idol listed – must say that the Australian version is pure torture! However, I saw a bit of the Aussie version of “So you think you can dance” the other night, and it wasn’t too shabby… what’s the US version like? Do you watch that?

And has the return of LOST been all you hoped for? Any plans for a new post about new thoughts and theories? Knowing you’ve got a focus for 2010, I don’t expect it… but maybe you could comment here…? ;)

Nice list of television shows you have there. I thought you were overworked? haha.

Ah yes, the FTC rules. It seems to me, nobody can do anything about it. FTC RULES! haha. But IMO, all forms of government should be abolished and every politician should be burned at the stake (no offense to those with relatives in politics). I hope you don’t mind me sharing a short line from a book called God Wants You Dead. It doesn’t have anything to do with TV shows, but it sure has something to say about your federal government.

“When people start to feel overly controlled, they’ll start to subvert those controls. This gives the Collective’s bosses an excuse to declare emergency measures and to call on their people’s loyalty to the group, “in this time of crisis.” The reflex will be to impose tighter and tighter controls until either all out civil war or internal coup results. The other possibility is that the Collective will be destroyed from the outside because it has grown weak from internal strife, or because it failed to keep up with the innovations of freer systems that are competing with it. Individual human minds may be smart enough to recognize when things are heading in a bad direction, but the Collective is not, and therefore neither are those who unthinkingly serve it.”

I’ll watch Seinfeld anytime also Star Trek The Next Generation, in my opinion the best of the all the Star Treks; The Twilight Zone; Cheers; Dr. Who (since the mid 60s); SNL; Monty Python; Boston Legal.

I add the Ricky Gervais version of The Office; The Daily Show with Jon Stewart; The Colbert Report and considering I live on the east coast, from July to October I watch a lot of The Weather Channel.
