Are You Voting For The Right Person?

No, I'm not taking a poll or asking you to divulge who you are going to vote for either.  A friend of mine sent me an email that contained a link to a quiz on ABC to see who's campaign statements, McCain's or Obama's, you agree with most. They don't tell you who made the statements, of course, but a statement made by each candidate on the same topic (economy, immigration, judiciary, etc.) will be side by side.  You just pick which statement you agree with and, after selecting all 13,  you'll find out which candidate's philosophy you support.

Try it at:

I ended the quiz with the same candidate I was intending on voting for.  I thought this would be fun for those of you on the fence or who will be voting based on the candidates political party itself.

I'm trying to avoid any political posts, but this was fun enough to pass through.  Thanks Ginny for sending this to me, it was quite enjoyable.

REMEMBER TO VOTE!  IT'S YOUR RIGHT!

Considering how Liberal biased ABC is---I found the poll reasonably even handed, with the possible exception of the lil cartoon icons of McCain and Obama being cleverly placed to confuse things---but if one ignores the placement of those insets, its a good cross section of the candidates positions on issues. ( I am of course a conservative in favor of McCain, I got all but one question correct--(lol)

I'm going to let you guys battle it out and watch, I think it's quite fun actually.

What would happen if we had a dinner party and Demeur and Gary were invited and became intoxicated...I think we'd need separate corners perhaps.

I just got back, I know this will be hard to believe, but there was only one question where I disagreed with the person I had already selected. Shocker

serioiusly gary, mccain? when i look at him and own up to some sick thing called honesty, i say to myself "he looks like george w and dick cheney went to dave and busters and took one of those pictures where it shows what your kid would look like." is that the best we can get to represent and lead our nation?

I couldn't even make it through the quiz. Niether or these fools deserves the position. Completely out of touch with reality, narcisistic, and both seem to have their heads securely lodged in their arses. Is anyone really that duped by the retarded charade these two are putting on?

This was very interesting. It's strange how we start to vote for our leaders based on personal similarities and not the issues at hand. The process of taking this quiz just reminded me that too often we make decisions based on charm and created personal personality bonds and other silly elements. We negelect those issues that are essential and necessary. We allow our personal attractions to personalities to guide our political decisions. So, that raises the question is voting for the guy who charmed you really living up to your civic duty, or is it just adding another clog in our already backed up and out-dated political system?
