The Starbucks Factor

I'm a freak for a nice mocha blended with the right amount of espresso from Starbucks.  So much so that I'm now going to start looking at it as a personal issue that needs to be corrected.

I spend way too much money on my daily drink.  Twice a day when I'm feeling especially spry.  The total ends up to $3.60 each morning.  Just to wake up.  That's sad, a waste of money and terribly unhealthy over the long haul.  Not only that, I've begun to notice this enlargement around the middle part of me.

Not the enlargement I could appreciate either.  Unfortunately.  :P

I see this as a chance to just quit the Starbucks habit at this point, and make it more a leisure pleasure.  I'm heading into old age at this point so should start making better habits for myself.  On average, I'm in what I believe you could accurately call my second half-life. (?)

New Habit

So, I might have an open slot for a new habit in my future.  I wonder what I could put in it's place.  Knowing me, I'll need to put something there rather than allow a habit to slip in there without my knowing. That's how Starbucks started for me.  I guess it may be better to plan your habits in advance.

Riding down the road, you see many Starbucks, so where do we stop for a break when rolling around?  Starbucks, if not the gas station.  That probably won't end.  It's a nice stop when you need to stretch, wipe the bugs off your face and quickly refuel the stomach.

I always get my hot as a grande non-fat, no whip, no foam, two pump, double-cup (only when driving) mocha.  My cold is a mocha frappaccino.  'Frappa-chapa' as my gay friends call it.

I'm such a flipping yuppie sometimes...

Keeps her regular don't ya know, and I wouldn't want to disturb that.
