Finding the Answer in Experts Exchange Search Results

Ever look something up in Google and find the one thing you believe can help you is from the ExpertsExchange web site?  Anyone who has been through this will know, you will only ever get the question being asked and not the answer you are looking for.  ExpertsExchange charges their members to see the answers to questions.  I think it's completely silly, and I used to skip their results outright.

Till I discovered that Google's cache of their pages actually contain the answer!  By looking at the cached page from Google, you will be able to view the answers...hopefully the one your looking for.

I believe ExpertsExchange has tried to prevent this from happening, but the answers are still there.  All you need to do is look.

Sometimes the text for the answers are colored the same as the background, essentially hiding the text.  All you need to do is select the text to reveal what's there.

Another method they use is to duplicate the page content, one on top of the other so that the first set of answers are empty while the second copy has the answers.  I believe their thought here is that users that know this trick will only look at the first section, where there isn't any helpful text.  The second section contains the text you want.  Just keep scrolling and selecting until you find what you want.

The only reason I can see that they would allow this to happen is for SEO reasons.  By providing the answers to Google and then hiding from humans they gain more keywords for Google, and perhaps a higher listing in the search results.  Not completely sure about that though.

Check it out mango: Any links must be entered as http://www.somewhere.com with nothing touching it. Anything else will be mangled. This is to help combat spam and to also ensure the masses know of this little tidbit before they click Save comment below. :) I have this down to remind me to do something with it, but I take things slow and easy on the old horse.

Keeps her regular don't ya know, and I wouldn't want to disturb that.
