I sign up for social sites mainly to explore who they are and what they provide to end users.  Because of this, I'm found on way too many of them, however some I actively participate in.  I've built this page for a couple reasons. 

1. To keep track of the social sites I've looked at, or am doing something with.  Having them here makes it easy for me to check back on them periodically.
2. Someone else may find it useful, or perhaps recommend another to me that I should check out.

Social Sites I Participate In

The table below displays the sites that I participate in.  Clicking the site name will take you to my profile.  I've classified the sites into the following:

• Social Friend - A place for finding friends, new and old.  Mostly personal based, but could also be used for business.
• Social Contact - A site that provides friends, but more for professional reasons than for fun.  Could be used for fun as well I guess.
• Social Bookmark - A site for cataloging web sites, blog posts and locations on the Internet. 
• Social Activism - Sites that run with a purpose to raise awareness on issues.
• Niche - Indicates the site is for a specific niche, and not for everyone in the world.
