About the Blogger.com Help Series

This is a series on using Blogger.com for your own personal blog.  My name is Wayne and I am making my way through the Blogger.com web site, step by step, and documenting the screens and processes I go through bringing my faux blog 'Views on Life' the look, feel, functionality and features that I have envisioned for it.  Of course, you might have some thoughts on what the blog needs, so by all means tell me your ideas!  Not only will I respond to you, I'll also cover the steps I took so you can do the same thing.

I'll also be using the Views on Life site to mimic real-life issues that you write to me about.  If you are having issues understanding some aspect of Blogger.com and need some help, let me know and I'll add it to my list of posts to write if the subject is appropriate for a post.  I will answer any and all questions presented to me about the Blogger.com platform in the form of a post, or as a direct response.

You might find that my post tend to progress through things in the same manner that I would for any professional site.  Setting up services and taking care of all the administrative front-end work involved with getting your blog going.  Once complete, that would lead into to custom additions and promoting the site.  From there, we'll probably head into maintenance and the remaining aspects of blog ownership.

Comments

I'd like to keep the comments for each lesson in context with the post, so please be mindful of the topic.  If you want to tell me that the post is a good post, please hold the comment, and instead let someone else know that might find the topic interesting!  Help your fellow Blogger.com users and let them know about the post!  I will respond to all comments however, and appreciate each and every one of them.

Subscribe

I encourage each and every user of the Blogger.com blog platform to subscribe to my blog, either by email or in your feed reader by grabbing my blog feed.  By subscribing, you won't miss a post or helpful tidbit.  It's free to use, and really works out nicely for busy schedules.

Thank You!

I want to express my thanks keeping me on my toes and pointing out anything that may be missing in each post.  If you find there is more to be said about any given topic, please feel encouraged to bring it up in the comments.   There are no wrong questions, and everyone's opinion fares equally amongst us all.  So thank you for being here and helping to make my blogging experience as full-filling as it has been so far.  Thank you!
