Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for a little break. Enjoy with me, if you might, a whole mess of kittens. Kittens running up slides.
The first one here is what started it all. Once the little kitten gets going about halfway through, I about lost it. The cuteness level may be too much for some, so be warned.
Next up on our list of kittens running up slides is this little puss in boots. He does a good job of reaching the top, but it takes him a few tries.
Alfie here climbs the slide in short order, but it’s what he does after reaching the top that wins the prize.
And that’s all I have. Except for one final plug. I found this video and thought it was very nice way to put a face to the tragedy that is the way we treat animals. Get your pets neutralized from over-breeding, and if you need an pet, please consider rescuing one on death row. All my animals are saved, and it’s the only way to go as far as I’m concerned.

Wow, how adorable is that kitten on the first video at the top there, so persistant in his or her goal to reach the top of the slide, really got their exercise for the day there didnt they.
With reference to the last video, although I had my own dog from when he was a tiny puppy, how rewarding it must also be to give a dog a happy home and a fresh start as a rescue dog.

Our newest puppy has been with us 1 month.She was in the humane society. She is sooo smart and cute, although we have no clue what breed she is other than – she is Zoie!
Our Tomarra dog passed away in Dec. she just wandered up one day & stayed with us for 3 years. She was a super special girl. We knew she had been abused at some point but, she got over her fears with a little love.

But the growing numbers of homeless animals is not
The 2 cats we have were both strays we rescued. Jonesy came to us straight off the streets, and Ella was adopted from the shelter.
Today was a sad day for us… we finally managed to sweep Fred, the latest stray that found us, into the cat taxi and took him to the shelter. After caring for him for the last 2 months it was hard to say goodbye. We weren’t the only ones dropping a stray off at the shelter… It’s sad. I’ll be doing a post on Fred soon.
It’s nice to hear that others consider saving animals from the shelters when they want a new pet. It’s the only way to go in my opinion, for good karma.
Demeur, this post made me think of you. I remember your comment a while back about the cats, and I hadn’t posted one for a while, so this one is for you bud. Nothing quite like watching a cat run in place.

machines with a new browser that doesn’t work too well. There’s a Mac Pigasarus in this house that hogs the”good machine” all the time. I either get another Mac or shoot the Pig.
I got my dog from someone who wanted to drop him on a field! Here, when a cat or dog female give’s birth, people drop babyes away because our veterinary doctor has no idea whatsoever how to make an sterilisation to females!…
Those first three videos are adorable, and the last one is sweet in the sense that those dogs had a happy ending, but sad in the fact that millions that end up in shelters do not. All of my cats are adopted from one agency or the other.

All of mine are rescued as well. Although my youngest cat was found at a roadside veggie stand. He was peeking out underneath my car. I grabbed him and asked the Amish lady how much for the curious cat, and she said to take him for free as he would more than likely end up as road kill.
Our dog we got from the SPCA a few months ago. Apparently, now in the down turned economy, lots of pets are displaced when their owners can not afford their upkeep.
Yea it’s horrible for an horror movie! But if this happen in reality is revolting!! Here people beating horses or dogs are regular flashes of life!! And i’m extremely upsead about!…

Bell on this side… Yea Wayne… Are many people in my sweet and fascinating Romania who are killing animals just for pleasure! I saw one killing a cat! I couldn’t beat him because he was big and i very little but i told to the police what i saw! But people from the romanian police done nothing! Is an disaster here in police! Who wants a country without laws, come here in Romania! Bell
