So watching the news I see a blip that talks about an illegal alien halloween costume, and I’m so intrigued that I stick around to watch what all the hubbub is about. Wouldn’t you know it, there’s someone out there with a sense of humor. But is it really all that funny or not? Some people seem to think it is, while another segment of society believes it to be offensive.

Well.. I dont find it all that particularly funny, but I also dont find it offensive. Its just another costume.
Don know if you guys heard about the hubbub in Stratford, CT last halloween. A woman had a zombie in her front yard hung by a noose. She had LOADS of halloween decor, I mean, so much that it was an eye sore.. But the kids liked it.
Well, SOMEONE make a point at the town hall that the ZOMBIE hanging from the noose was racist. News was there, everyone made a HUGE stink, and she took it down because she couldnt stand the stupidity.

Me? I’m a fan of dressing up for Halloween, and this year I’ll be a big dancing flower. You all will like it…I’ll have pix.
Racist hanged zombie? I leave it up all year if it caused that much trouble. Not because it was racist (which I really don’t see) but because people are so very stupid as to be offended by a zombie! It’s not a person, it’s undead! Haha. This costume though, it’s not offensive but it’s not very clever either.
If the costume included a burrito and a heavy plaid coat I could see the term “offensive” perhaps carrying some weight.
I would say not at all, I wonder why would it be offensive to others? For some prisoners maybe? For I know they don’t even care about Halloween. LOL!
Of course some people have a problem with this. There are some people that cannot make it through a day without causing a ruckus about one thing or another. I think that it is funny. It is also creative. We dress like dead celebs all of the time. Is that respectful? I mean really. Can’t we just dress up and have a good time?? Thanks for sharing the post.
