As promised, here are some of the pix from Harmony's Halloween Haunt, which was a great time. We took a few snaps when we arrived, Jacq is the naughty nurse and I'm an Orgasm Donor. Had the stethoscope and the coat, good enough. Harmony dressed as the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland and looked incredible.

I love Halloween, I really do. I usually dress up as something, usually stupid, but I try to be clever. I remember one year I did blue man, another year I was static cling. In case you don't know what that might be, imagine someone that looks like the got out of bed and went to work, in their bright yellow silk (ok, probably not silk, but it looked like it) ...sigh... yellow pajama's. I had sewn underwear, panties, socks, stockings and finally a bra on strategic places. Finally, I donned a bright orange wig that resembled the scalp of some Fraggle Rock denizen.
I was static cling.
I went to work and just had fun with it. That was the first costume I wore to the office. (I say office just so I don't have to explain my work history here, I mean I've worn these to the workplace)
The following pictures are other costumes I've worn to the office. I'm just going to let each set speak for itself.

Well, I've been trying to get some things cleaned up around the blog. I've been focusing on making some CSS tweaks that, really, should have been done before I kicked out this theme. Gary left a comment on my last post in my quit smoking mini-series that was absolutely brilliant. While I have successfully made a list of all the reasons that I hate smoking, he thought about it the other way. What about the benefits of quitting smoking? I had a great list of negatives, but considering the positive benefits is also a list I want in my wallet when I quit.

As part of my effort to quit smoking, I came up with 22 things that I don't like about smoking. The idea here is to list everything I don't like about it, and keep the list in my pocket. When I have an urge to smoke, I will recall I have this list and review it to remind me of all those things I don't like about smoking and myself when I smoke.

I was recently found sitting on the mountain top with my guru. You'd never know this guy to be a guru, but he is...in his own unique way. He's also a friend of mine from as far back as 6th grade, so he knows me quite well. Perhaps a bit too well, but then, we need people like that in our lives right?
