I’m pretty much like you I suspect. Wondering what may happen around 2012, but not really taking it seriously. I found a trailer for the upcoming 2012 movie and I need to say that I pee’d a little when I watched it.
I get sucked in to special effects, and the empathic part of me puts me in the movie, so when things happen, I visualize myself right there, along with the actors. My palms sweat, I get anxious, nervous etc…
This wall of water is simply incredible, I can’t wait to see this movie!

I think that whether the world will end on 2012 it is good to be ready.

I might add that I posted this because of the special effects, and the doomsday plot that I too am a big fan of.
I like movies that can suck you in and make you part of the film. I hope the quality is there for 2012 to do it. Looks promising so far.

well looking forward to the movie, I’m a sucker for end of the world plots, which is kinda surprising , me being an upbeat positive guy.
I don’t think you’ll have to worry about it. Life in the oceans and then most on the land would be dead long before your place would be part of the Pacific Ocean.
Peed or threw up, jeez that is enough to make a person paranoid. The imagery is great though… I flew over the mountain range between Krygazstan (not sure of the spelling) and Afghanistan and the mountains were unbelievably tall, I think for the water level to rise as high as it is in this trailer the crust of the earth would have to crack and swallow entire continents.

I liked the Yellowstone ‘what if’ scenario ‘movie’ also, since we are about 50 miles from there, if that ever blew, what a view we would have- before vaporizing!
